Stump grinding involves the removal of the stump by grinding it down to the desired level below the surface. The debris left is of a fine sawdust nature which when mixed with the soil leaves little or no need for additional land fill. The finished result is an instant neatness whilst being kind to the environment.Whether you have an issue with a one-off large stump in your back yard, a row of decaying shelter belt stumps on a boundary or a block needing clearing, the variation in machinery sizes we have available, ensures we can tailor your specific needs, using the most efficient method.Diameter of stump, age of tree, soil type, root system, safety and access are all things considered during a site visit.

Steve Hyland and Darren did clearing work on our section at 210 Hauraki Terrace, Thames in late 2020. They were able to get through a variety of vegetation clearing ranging from gorse, to high grass, to small stands of 5 year old wattle. Over two days they were able to clear over 8000m3 on very steep slope of land. We were very pleased with the result. They are great communicators and they honoured their commitment to getting the job done, even though it was obvious they were very busy at the time with other work commitments. All in all a very good experience. We highly recommend both these operators to anyone requiring quality stump-grinding and block clearing.
